Learn to read the bible through listening to the radio

I started listening to gospel radio KFM102.3 six years ago. I was yet a believer. That year, my family broke up. To comfort myself, I would walk on the pedestrian overhead bridge across the highway. I habitually brought with me my little radio to listen to radio programs. One day, I happened to tune in to a Hokkien program. The host said, “I am SuQin, and you are listening to KFM102.3.” That caught my attention. When I went back home, I kept looking for a location where I can have a good reception. With much effort, I managed to find one good location and since then I have always placed my radio there to listen to KFM102.3 everyday. I was not a Christian but I find your programs very interesting.

Later, through the guidance of God, I believed in the Lord. After becoming a Christian, I have grown to love the gospel radio station even more. I would fervently listen to the programs in the three time slots everyday. As a result, I benefited greatly. I feel that this station is marvelous and so I recommended it to my Christian friends, inviting them to tune in. They all said, “Great! How can there be a Hokkien radio station? That is amazing!” Thanks be to the Lord. There is a Sister Wong, who after knowing the station through my recommendation, also tunes in to the station everyday, listening to the Mandarin, English, Hokkien, and Cantonese programs. None of the programs is missed and even at work, I listen to the programs using an ear phone.

I would like to encourage everyone to listen to this gospel radio, KFM102.3, especially those friends who have yet to believe the Lord. I was illiterate and thus was unable to read the Bible. Through listening to the radio and reading the Bible at the same time all these years, I am slowly able to read the Bible and learned many words. Therefore, I encourage you to come and listen to the gospel station and more importantly, read the Bible, because the word of God is great!

I am writing in to show my appreciation for the 2 programs I am regularly tuning in, that is your Wednesday 9.30am of which Ming En is the host and Friday 8.00am by Liu Kai Xing about praise and prayer.
 
I thank God that their presentations have been anointed by the Lord and I have truly benefited from it. For me, they are instruments used by God to help us learn more about His truth, life and way.

In 1996, my daughter brought me a radio, so that I could listen to Hainanese drama. Once, I accidentally tuned in to a sermon of the LiangYou station. Since then, I have been listening to the station till after midnight everyday, and I even buy tapes to record the programs for re-listening. Since the day I began listening to the gospel radio in 1996, eight radios had been wore out. I appreciate the LiangYou Station very much because it helps me grow in maturity in life. Led by me and my spouse, more than half of the family members have accepted the Lord. I am even more grateful for one of my grandsons who is a soldier as he led his fellow soldier to Jesus in his camp. Please pray for him frequently. May God use him.

When I am not too busy at work, I  tune in to the LiangYou Station so all of us would be able to listen together. When the shop was moved here in April this year, I frequently tuned in to the programs and some courses, and occasionally I also play hymns. There were two persons in the shop opposite mine that kept asking me to change the channel because they do not like it. But the work of the Holy Spirit is amazing. I insisted in playing the programs and I told them that those are gospel radio programs. I also told them about the love of the Lord Jesus. They who were most strongly against the gospel radio finally went with me to the worship service last week and said that they want to believe in the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord!

My faith has been weak recently and I am at a lost. Although I attend the worship service in church, I feel lonely. Due to my health, I am not very mobile and as a result, I almost have no friend. I have no interest in reading the Bible, and very weak spiritually. Please pray for me. Listening to your programs is my greatest joy and my best choice!
